Our curriculum is centered around the Philosophy Core class sequence. In these classes students read the world’s most influential philosophical texts beginning with early Buddhist writings and concluding with the 20th century philosopher Hannah Arendt. The Philosophy Core exposes students to texts that seek to answer eternal human questions such as: How do we led good lives? What duties do individuals owe societies? What rights to individuals possess? How do we decide if an action is ethical? Content found in the Philosophy Core is applicable to every other content area.
